Extraordinary Things

I would like to introduce you to Benny Prasad.

Benny is well-known for designing the Bentar which is the World’s First Bongo Guitar. It is a guitar with built-in bongo drums and a 15 string harp. The guitar is so unique and intriguing, it opens doors for Benny to share the gospel.

Benny has traveled to every sovereign and dependent country on Earth (Including Antarctica) in 6 years, 6 months and 22 days. He is therefore the fastest man ever to visit all 245 countries in the world.

Benny has performed at the Olympic Games and the FIFA World Cup. Performed for Presidents and Parliaments.

Early in life, this never seemed possible. Benny was born with severe asthma which required him to take cortisone steroids from which he developed rheumatoid arthritis, 60% lung damage, and an immune system with regularly fails him leaving him weak. At 16, doctors informed Benny he had six months to live and his conditions continue to threaten his life even to this day.

Most importantly, everywhere Benny goes he shares the message of hope and redemption the gospel brings. He refuses to perform unless he can share his testimony, which has allowed him to share in multiple closed countries.

Benny represents the heart of NoSuperHeroes where we see grace compelling ordinary people to be used for extraordinary things.

“But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.” 2 Corinthians 4:7

“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9

Benny Prasad is an ordinary jar of clay, demonstrating the power of God who does extraordinary things. God uses our weakness to do amazing things.
